^^ nice one!!

The real reason Gerry enjoyed dinner was because, as we were leaving, three women in line to order said, "Ooh, nice suit" as he passed.

I witnessed it with my two eyes and two convex lenses. Was incredible.

Dont you have ladies dropping to their knees everywhere you walk too?

Yeah, very nice, Rob!

Firstly, since we were walking together, it's far more likely they were referring to you, TBM!

I'm wondering whether I should have corrected them and told them I was wearing and odd jacket and chinos ...

My personality is my biggest asset

My bar jacket wig and robes just arrived from Ludlows - my first ever set :)

After my chat with Richard when he was down here a couple of weeks ago, they were even kind enough to throw in a Henry Carter navy silk twill tie, gratis.

Sorry for the image quality, I took the photo with a toaster.

Called them up
Couldn't understand half of what the lady said
But I heard they have McQueen for 239 isn't that the cheaper line
Mate, all you need to do is understand which last fits you best. For Loakes, they are all mostly the same. 026 is probably quite common, and Capital lasts. Once you know which lasts fits you best, then you can shop online at say Herrings for more choices and colors.

i love those shoes. btw guys my Trafalgar belt arrived today in dark brown : First impressions: - its very thin compared to other dress belts i own, but overall i am pleased with the leather quality and look of the belt on. - my only concern is how it will last over time compared to my "thicker" leather belts which have served me well

Just bought a jacket - been searching for an M65 for a while.. this isnt an M65 but similar with a hood Its La Panoplie and looks like this one on the left.. it has upper pockets that you cant see in this pic which are diagonal zips and it has pockets under the bottom ones for hands to fit in and also has metal hardware at the neckline which is a cool detail
That is pretty nice. Deets on where you bought it / the price?

lots of reading but im an advocate of doing whatever suits you ... buttoned, unbuttoned, one buttoned it doesnt matter really.

Just because its there doesnt mean you have to always use them:)

I like this part.

Only had 5 seconds of access with Japanese keyboard. That's qwerty. Last 5 days been in koide , small town in uonamo city, in Niigata pref. Snow country, still a metre or two metres of snow beside streets and houses. Today top of 7 and rain heavey all day. Have had some warmer days. staying with friends father in house with only one chair in whole house. Seven people. No net access , am stealing some neighbours access here.

I can report sake good, hot springs good, sushi good, sashimi home made good, beer good, snow cold, back to tokio on fast train tomorrow.
