And I'd also rather go prepster than fast-food fry preparer.

The bride took my advice and decided to go with suits. She bought us all fused, khaki, cotton/poly blend two buttons with double pleated trousers.

The lesson - be careful what you wish for.

Women are nuts though, seriously. I was in Brooks Brothers the other day and the bride to be was picking out a tux outfit for the groom (groom was there). What did they want: "High three button notch lapel tux. Ivory shirt (to match her dress). Silver long tie." I'm going to blame that on the woman.

A common, and not paritucularly good look. It is not really directional (i.e. unconventional but well thought out - or at least though out) nor is it traditional (which is safe and sometimes a little boring, but will generally look good - not everyone likes adventure the way I do). It is at the same time pedestrian and ill-informed.

The $64,000 question. Americans are obsessed with matching for some reason. English weddings, in which everyone wears the same basic thing (e.g., morning coat) but with variatons from man to man, look much more elegant to me.
