Canali or Sam Hober tie?

Nonissue for loake
Really? That welt isn't bothersome at all? I'm pretty sure that these would be seconds even by AE's standards. Loake 1880 for reference.
Which brands offer driving loafers to a reasonable price? Tod's and Car Shoe are way too overpriced.
Im in college and I have a Volleyball "Formal" party coming up. Im planning on wearing a navy jacket, Grey chambray pants, and a light pink gingham shirt. I was just wondering if there were any other colors/prints I could get away with with this other then a solid pink tie. Any help is much appreciated.
Solid navy tie, slightly darker than the blazer to avoid clash, will tone down the pink gingham and look sharp. Just what I would do, then again I wear solid navy ties with everything...Im in college and I have a Volleyball "Formal" party coming up. Like InTheGroom said, if the placket won't be seen under a tie it's basically irrelevant. If wearing open collar - or especially button down - I'd say it depends on the color of the shirt, but personally I only ever go for white MOP buttons myself in that scenario. More subtle and, I suppose, arguably 'more formal'.Are blue or gray MOP buttons instead of white buttons appropriate for a dress shirt or that detracts too much from formality of the shirt ? I'd wear that shirt under suit mostly.
+1.No, those shoes are too light for that suit.
