I would recommend that you measure your best fitting pair of pants. Lay them flat with the front facing up and measure the width of the back end (which will be straight). Double that to get your pant waist.

That photograph is still in circulation? Hands in his pockets is his unaesthetic protest about having insufficient movement of artistic inspiration all those decades. The two gray tones is no problem at all - he's bought very high quality clothes. I wrote him to ask why he puts his hands in his pockets, later he replied he charges for an hour's consulation a fee of an amount which I'm sure countless family fathers would like to earn in a week to provide elementary needs.

I second the advice of measuring pants that fit, and seeing how closethey are to the true measurements of the pair you are considering.

When I'm a 30" waist (hopefully I'll get back down to that again) I have to buy 32" pants, and take them in at the waist, because the legs and seat are substantially more roomy, to accommodate my athletic thighs and rear. I would say that the 32" would likely need substantial alterations, in order to fit. Can these be returned? If so, I would order the 28" and ask my tailor, then return them if there isn't enough room. Then you can decide if you think the 32" would be worth all of the effort. It may be, though, that you can't get these pants in your size, and you should just pick different pants.

Do you think this pants can be let out at the waist?

I usually wear 30 (have to fasten the waist a little bit) but it isn't available so I have to opt for 28 or 32, the 32 is pretty loose obviously but it can be re-cut like 30 easily. The 28 seems to be good at every measurement because I'm thin except the waist.

If this waist can be let out, I would buy the 28.
My advice is to buy a bigger size and then tighten. 28 For if you remain close widening of the signs, especially behind. And this is not very nice.

What do you think about Bottega Veneta shoes? I know there are better options out there (from specialized shoe makers) and that BV is a fashion brand (so "not worth" the asking price) but I would just like to get some facts (who makes them, supposedly there is sat least some hand-work involved) and opinions about their (more expensive) shoes. Thank you in advance!

Thank you guys for your advice

I have bought the pants 32. I also think tighten it down to 30 will be a better option than the 28. I live in the Asia, so I cannot return that pants to the US.

Hi Everyone!

I am new to this forum and posted on the intro forum too. I came across this forum browsing on Google searching men's fashion style. I am a middle class income guy who works ALOT with a 11 month baby, so quite obviously I don't have the time to shop. My wardrobe is long overdue for updates and looking for good quality brands for reasonable prices. Does anyone know of any online stores that offer great deals but provides quality brands. It does not need to be name or premium brands, I would be okay with new labels or niche areas. Thanks!

You may want to search the official sale alert thread or something similar in this forum. Good luck.

For suit, I would buy Benjamin suit, Suit Supply or Kentwang if I were you.

To be able to give helpful opinions, more context is needed.

What is your purpose for needing a new wardrobe, personal or professional needs? Do you have a list and budget in mind?

Looking for both casual and business casual. I have no need for suits though at this time. My price range would be $50 or less for tops (polo, button down, sweaters) and $80 or less for bottoms.

Someone told me about uniqlo here which has great prices. But for some reason some of the pages I get an error message when I click on them. Not sure what that is all about. Either way, it definitely has some nice stuff on there!
