I have an odd body size: a relatively thick neck, long, mostly lean torso (a little gut is developing, however, as I am aging), medium to somewhat narrow-ish shoulders, large chest and short arms (oh, I also have uneven arms and shoulder lengths). Okay, that sounds really freakish, but I actually look all right.
Most RTW shirts don't fit me well. For one thing, if the neck size is right, the shoulders are too big and the waist is too poofy, and the wrists are too thick.
I'm now resigned to getting MTM dress shirts. I heard much about Jantzen and would like to try it, but am concerned that my own measuring would be inferior.
Are there any good MTM shirt makers in the metro-DC area?
How much should one pay for such shirts with mid quality fabric?
