I readed someone around here said AM have plans to launch a new líne with low instep for all the people wich doesnt fit so well all his actual last.... if this is true for sure is going to take a while until they are ready ?
It’s probably me.
As I have low instep and flat feet, in one of the call I had with Antonio, he told me that my situation isn’t rare, he saw a lot of people with similar feet with me and he’s planning to develop a last that would fit this kind of feet better. It’s more like a chitchat so I am not sure the status and timeline of it. I would suggest you to go through the mtm instead of waiting for this last - which may take quite a while.

Meanwhile, more patina experiments due to some free time at home...

P.S. I now think Antonio is right when he asked me not to be obsessed with Berluti patina. Yes it takes skills, but it definitely is not magic.

Having a hard time deciding the color of a pair of Sagittari double monks: Ambra or burgundy. The AM photos of the burgundy look amazing, but I was looking for another pair of tan/light brown shoes.

When in doubt, burgundy! ;-) Much more versatile in my opinion at least

I guess my thought is burgundy is a more formal color, and the ambra monks would be used for lighter gray/blue suits. I already have a pair of Ambra Principes and Decurion 2 in burgundy.

After 11 and a half weeks, here they are - Valerius hatch grain Siena.

I confess that by looking at the website on my computer then and now again they seem to have more of a brown/red-ish tone. In person, though, they seem more of a burnished darker tan?

Not complaining, but I was somewhat surprised with the color. Has anyone else here gotten this model and had that same impression?

PS: please don't mind the socks. I had to put the shoes on ASAP... ?
