The Conundrum of the Square Toed Shoe
Square toed shoes and bicycle toed shoes get a lot of hate on this forum (Cleverly aside). But why? And what constitutes a square-toed shoe? Is there an intrinsic quality to the square-toed shoe that is aesthetically awful, or is it simply that you frequently find them on cheap, plasticky mass produced shoes at Wal Mart?
