A busy day in the office today, I got to explain how awesome shell and shark on these LandSharks are to coworkers, who were wearing adidas and Nike. Reverse black shell cordovan watch strap.

The wife is out of town, so I’ve been frantically getting by long work hours, taking care of the kids, etc, but also got to pick up these beauties.

I just got a black reverse shell watch strap in the mail today. Mine has white printing on it, which I haven’t seen before.
How will this age?
Do you have any recommendations for care/ maintenance?
EDIT: I’m also looking for a 22mm black buckle to better match my watch. Any suggestions on where to find that?

I would avoid conditioner other than bick4 for a watch strap. I’ve experienced too much color bleed before. The reverse side should age slower maybe?

Got my new Dark Chili 5th Aves in 9.5E along with the dreaded V-gap. Fit feels fine however and is very comfortable so will keep and hope it closes a bit over time!

Those look great!! I guess I'm just not seeing the angst over having a high instep. It's how God made you and if the look doesn't conform to some idealistic standard then #sobeit

Well men...

After weeks of trying to hunt down a Strand® in the 100th Anniversary Vintage Hickory™ finish, I have finally waived the white flag. Defeated. I got a great deal on a first-quality pair that was a size small; the finish looks so spectacular that I can't decide if I want to wear them or eat them, but alas...they are simply too tight to wear out of the house, no matter how I try to talk myself into it.

I've done the next-best thing. For a few days now, ShoeBank™ has been teasing me with a pair of the double-monk Mora® in Vintage Hickory; there have only been 2 or 3 sizes available, with one being my 13D. The buckles seem kind of gimmicky to me and the view from the tops (at least in the stock AE photos) looks sort of "meh," but the side views--oh, those side views--are absolutely glorious. No, they aren't the $159 I paid for the too-small Strand pair, but with the 25% off, I finally pulled the trigger at $300. At the end of the day, it's only money.

May one of us be kind enough to post a few in-the-wild photos of the Mora? There's not too much on the internet, surprisingly. I'm hoping these too will be a first-quality, as my Strand was.

Thanks!

Thanks! Theres so many conflicting views on how wide the v gap should be. However I did notice on AEs last black Friday Facebook advert that the V Gap in the promo pics was quite large too!

Here is a slightly different style that may work better. The clasp in the buckle is thinner and may be better suited for the hole size on your band. Link.

Felt like a good day to break out the old, wrinkly, scratched and dinged, OG CXL HMs. To be fair, pretty much every day is a good day to break these out.
