Well, it’s been a year!

Hope everyone celebrating in or out has a safe evening for themselves and if in an environment of spilled drinks and stray urinal streams, for their footwear as well.

It’s been a pleasure finding the time and the mindset to try to follow this thread again over the past year. I say “try” because I swear this thread operates inside a time-dilation field such as that when I feel I have been away only a brief moment, I find I am behind an unfathomable amount of posts. The humor, camaraderie, humility, shoe knowledge, and the shared knowledge/advice far far far beyond shoes always makes this place AEppreciable.

Can anyone compare the fit of the Strandmok to the fits of the Fifth Avenue & Park Avenue, also on the 65 last? I found 10 D in the Fifth Avenue too tight in the toebox when I tried them a while ago & ended up returning; I currently own have Park Avenues from eBay in 9.5EEE which are too roomy though functional if laced tightly and worn with thick socks. I'm considering the white suede Strandmoks since I've been wanting to add a white shoe to my collection.

Theoretically they should all fit the same, but there is some variation in sizing between pairs. Unless you’re talking about the old Strandmok that are unlined and have floppy tongues…those fit larger.
If they don’t fit in your usual size, I’d try another pair before playing with sizing.
