The man who only wear Mac Neils has also owned the following AE models:

Strandmok
Chester
McGregor
Shannon Drive
Boardwalk
Dalton
Normandy
Sullivan
Long Branch
Liverpool

In addition, several pairs of vintage Florsheim Imperials, a rare Florsheim Varsity, and a Cobbler Union John II.

But feel free to ignore my posts if you are not interested in what I contribute. I suppose my taste may be rather specific but I struggle to see why that would offend anyone.
But you don't have the Cherry Red Alex on City :)

Yup yup. They’re a sister shoe to the five fingers.

I knew what those were the minute I saw them. When I used to do more running I wanted a pair of the vibram five fingers so bad as they were the only thing that actually felt comfortable- I could never dial in a fit on hoka, NB or Brooks. But I couldn't get past the idea that everyone and their brother would be staring and commenting on them. So here I am today, with Nikes, at least what I would consider the worst running shoe on the market.

I once returned an immaculate pair of walnut/bone broadstreets to Kristen that cost $127. Wonder between that and the Broadstreet which would have called for more attention.

New balance Minimus. Give that a try. That’s my minimalist running shoe primarily right now. I’ve got a more cushioned Kinvara for long roads, and these furushiki for CrossFit days and light runs (less than 2mi)

I thought I'd share an amusing story.

I'm at work last night and look down in the middle of a song and see a notification that my Allen Edmonds order has shipped. I'm rather perplexed because the last thing I ordered was the Chili Mac linen spectators, but I dunno I guess I could have left open a page on my computer while looking at the current sale and my kid could have clicked something through, or someone could have stolen my credit card and happened to buy Allen Edmonds with it... Who knows?

Anyway, I wait until the set break to investigate and upon clicking the track now button see that my order was delivered on July 14th and was the pair of eBay Macgregors that I sent for recrafting to get a discount on the Chili Macs. Only a month and change late to the party on the shipping notification, but at least they made it here in record time!

The recraft turned out great, although the shoes still feel like someone else's when I put them on. Perhaps with time and many more wears that will pass.

Happy WTW!

After listening to you weasels yammer on about fit for years, I have started paying closer attention to my own shoes. I did finally purchase some quality shoe stretchers, along with a pair of boot stretchers. They are wooden stretchers with the swiss-cheese holes all over to accommodate little metal warts, which mimic the actual bumps and bunions on my actual feet. After some tweaking I'm getting great results and have been able to remove some hot spots. Every pair I have focused on I can wear 14+ hours in a day without thinking about them. And BTW, @Shoenut is correct on Strandmoks. Mine are all labeled 14EEE, but in reality they start at 8B and go to 27EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Tremendous variation in fit on those shoes, I'm working on them.

Chili Shell Daltons today. Daltons have always been my favorite AE boot.

The other A for WTW.

I’ll be going in to the office trailer once a week at the facility, so hopefully I will be able to contribute more to the thread. I have so many pairs that I have worn 1 or 0 times since purchase.

Looks good! What color are those laces? I’m looking for options for my #8 Daltons.
Thanks
