Half my collection is either a loud welt or some form of Spectator. Mrs. Shoenut is a fan.

The insoles of this pair has “The Hand Crafted World of Allen Edmonds.” These are most likely from the mid 1980s. They look like the Strand — but without a medallion on the toe.

I would guess these are the Winfield (seen in the 1988 catalog), but that style is on the 97 last and this one shown is on the 65. Perhaps the Winfield was on the 7 and 5 at one point? I don't know.

Also, didn't know AE made shoes in 18 D at one time.

For some reason I always refer to my PA sneaker as a Strand sneaker. Must be Strand envy.

Got a nice dinner and walked around Centro Tlaquepaque tonight.

The contrast welt is just so stylish.

As for those unidentified shoes, whenever I have a question I contact AE recrafting, I assume they have all the information on the lasts.

Given that these are from the mid-1980s and the code does not match the Strand, I’m wondering if they were made for another retailer or a custom order.

Enjoying a little relaxation time on the balcony. My newly fixed pants because nothing fits anymore. I got to say that Shell is a great leather for vacation. It is very dusty here and calf gets so dirty. These I just damp cloth and brush.

I know it's Wednesday and that's usually reserved for a wingtip, but nobody puts Donkey in a corner. Oh, and nobody tells Donkey what to do. Well, except for Mrs. Donkey. And, that one guy on the radio on that one station that comes in every once in a while. And the nanotech that the governments injected in me with the vaccine. And the voices in my head. And sometimes, surprisingly enough, Sinbad comes over for a chat, and he's full of life lessons and the wisdom that only comes from having a singular name. You know, like Charo, or Madonna, or Kramer. The ones who really have it together. And, where was I?

Oh yeah, I'm wearing the Sullivan Street boots today in dark brown on my dirty driveway while the dog runs around like an idiot and tries to eat leaves and the remnant of pumpkin that the squirrels left in the back corner of the yard.

Can anyone identify these? I think I have looked at almost every catalog available.

It looks like an MTO pair of Strands with a medallion delete. Notice the model number starts with a 0, which typically indicated a special make up in that time frame. They also look to be polished cobbler.

Great prices on the various holiday shoes - I really want a Jingle Bell Mok in 10.5 E, but the E widths are gone.
