Sure, but on my weave pair I have used mostly neutral there

By the way, how do you polish weave shoes? Is that an issue or do you just polish the weave part like you would elsewhere?

I use cream on the weave but not wax at all. And when you apply the cream use tiny amounts and massage it in a lot longer than smooth leather. I will use a pig bristle brush. That’s about it.

I saw the picture of the suede Strand sneaker. I think this looks pretty good in suede.

Agreed. I could see myself wearing the suede Strands. I think they are suited better as a sneaker, although the PA doesn't look bad either.

@Aenonymous Ashley posted a picture yesterday of what they look like outside. I admit that I was a little disappointed when I first saw them on the site (I have a brown pair already and missed out on the original natural). However, the pics Ashley posted showed that they look kind of like the golden brown cxl AE used to offer. I think they look light enough to consider them different from the brown. I was a little sad to see the contrast laces are gone, but I really like the brick Dainite sole. I heard Horween is not offering the old natural cxl anymore, which is really sad. If there's anything left on the market in the old natural, now is the time to buy.

Yes. After U of I College of Law I lived in Chicago for 15 years.

Moved to Vancouver in February. Best decision I ever made in my life.

There's no AE here, Seattle is the closest. And buying used AEs on eBay or Poshmark is a nightmare. But the political climate is so much better here. The people are kinder and more reasonable. The city and surrounding area are stunningly beautiful.
