Well...the special make ups arrived from ae_ashley today. (Well, they were someone’s special makeups—I was justthe right place / right time).

MacNeil NAVY (wow) Shell Cordovan 10eee
Translucent welt
JR soles

Strand (no, not strandmok) w/red Dainite 10.5eee (slightly larger than what I usually wear, but my wide foot sits great in these—might even try 10.5 from now on).
Black welt? Odd choice, but for the silly price that I paid, I’m very happy with them.

Outside, the blue looks nice, but I think I can totally wear these w/ a black belt until I see if I want to do a navy belt hunt...

Thanks again to Ashley. Hope you’re all having a great day.
Looking good! You can also wear a brown belt, matching the welt/edges.

My apologies. I’m trying to do this on the phone.

Has anyone ever waxed a pair of non-waxed suede shoes or boots before? How did it turn out?

Can you take the wax off over time or does it permanently alter the footwear?

I have the Surrey chelsea boots in brown which is really more of a subdued grey which doesn't create enough contrast in almost any pair of pants except jeans (according to my taste anyway).

Also I kind of want to rough them up/increase the durability so I can wear them harder.

Waxing is easy, removing would be miserable I'd think. Here's a tutorial

I still see some form of WTF when I see WFH... Usually read it as what the fn hell, or WtFH.

That said, they were mostly done with this AExBB collab when BB announced their bankruptcy. So, sadly, I wouldn't hold your breath on these.

Those University of Miami fans are kinda goofy. Good news is they can wear these socks with their sandals:

An interesting idea. I’d have tried it on a pair that had a difficult stain before getting rid of them. I don’t know that I would have the guts to do it on a new pair. But it’s cool.

For fans of burnished olive. The Dylan is now coming in this color. Blake and rapid stitched penny.

Shame about that strap though.
At $149 I was thinking about getting one for a science experiment. It comes with that rubber nubbed leather outsole. And the leather is about as cheap as the leather used for the V tread shoes. D and E are the only widths also and the D fits more like a C.

Dooooos it. It's a damn purdy shoe. I'm stroking/preferring the Strand in olive only because I know my size in the 65 last.
