I have purged a lot of my non-AE shoes. A lot of crazy Mezlan and Magnanni. But I have never owned more than 70 at any one time.

Any AE Byron owners here? Pair on the famous auction site caught my eye. It’s “basically” a Fifth Ave on the 234 last, correct? Worth checking out? I’m a eee...

Can one of you fine gentlemen assist me with dating this pair of shell macneils (even approximately)? Just got these in... @lcdx22 they seem to fit although I only slipped them on lace-less since I tend to proceed cautiously with shell of uncertain age/care. Thanks again for your assistance earlier.

Apologies for the lousy pics. Only had a brief moment of downtime but will clean these up for better pics later.

Love the prima ballerina, who will no doubt have fond memories of hangin' with dad (I assume?) and his great piles of shoes!

Shell Patriots today with my new expresso Ostrich belt. This belt is a bit tighter than my other belts of the same size. Most belts are loose on the second hole but this one is actually snug.

I really don't need another pair of boots, but the Hamilton's are so darn pretty and covid savings is burning a hole in my pocket and quadpay means it's only, like, a few payments of $60 which is easily ignored....

Tan Hamilton's on olive dainite incoming...

I guess I can store them with the unworn walnut Dalton's I got in April and hope that next winter has actual boot weather. Otherwise, maybe my nephew will have similarly sized feet in 20 years.

Is it time to Christmas shop? My kids are killing my boat shoes.

Right... It's the belt's fault... ;D

Will be my first 'tan' shoes. Seem pretty casual. i'm guessing jeans and chinos is the way?

(Appreciate the re-enforcement. After pulling the trigger I saw all of the brown and cognac colors on shoebank for $50 less and and I was second-guessing not going w/ a more 'traditional' color)

The final day of the lonely shoe week brings out the brown shell MacMeils. Once it was a rarity, but then became a bit more common when AE went brown shell for everything. That was just before they killed the MacNeils. John 11:35.
