Oh my lord, those turned out nice. I knew I was going to regret not grabbing a snuff Mac

Wow, guys, that's fast!
They did turn out nice. Appreciate the suggestion from Jason in Charleston to go with the antique/natural edge (i know you’re out there somewhere)

Has AE ever offered a shell Delray?
A chili Shellray would be awesome!

It's interesting how each maker does something that works for everyone.
No one beats AE's Strand pattern.
It is. Of the three boots mentioned I like the Islays the best, think the Daltons need a split welt, and think the Alden’s eyelets are too close together (same issue I have with all Alden boots). The wing pattern and real estate on the toe don’t really bother me, but as you say - there is something that works for everyone.

Another relaxing morning in Guadalajara today. We are going to hang out at our tiny little house in Tlaquepaque today. I will just relax while my wife cleans and makes some meals for us. She never lets me help in Mexico. The neighbors might see. She does not have such issues in the US.

Vendor meetings on Monday. Neumoks.

One vendor had appreciably better shoes. If shoes were the criteria they would have won.

3 reps. Natty CXL longwings. Brown suede shortwings. Walnut monks.

which do you consider appreciably better? I think there might be disagreement between natty CXL longwings and suede shortwings

All three were from the same vendor. They as a whole were better than the crap the rest were wearing. Looking at these 3 separately...The monks were very nice, but I'm more partial to Natty and longwings. But the suede shortwings won IMHO.
