I was holding out hope that this upcoming Trunk show was going to include Dublin. I would have been first in line for a Dublin HM. To date, it is my number one wish for an AE makeup. The only thing that could make me happier than a Dublin trunk show that included the HM would be to have one that revived the Eagle County as well. AE could have taken all my money with that kind of show.

I don't see why we can't look into suede and Dublin in the future. In fact, I would like to.

So, a question for the fashionistas.
Does the Fifth Street only work with dress slacks/suits or can it be dressed down successfully?
I like the look, and could use another boot (shell Dalton is it right now) and was thinking the FS would be nice in chili shell. However, as an engineer, I rarely wear suits. I just thought a boot, in shell, with toe perfing might work as a less formal look.
Feel free to correct me. My wife does.
Honestly, despite what I've done personally, I think the Fifth St is better with proper "dress" pants. It can be done with jeans like Strands, but visually the sleek oxford lacing and shiny shell just match better. (Rolled jeans were just to show full boot)

I plan to get them in chili and wear them with dark indigo and grey jeans.

Again wearing those floppy tongued fools, the Grey Suede Strandmoks.

(Yes, this would have been a better place to take a picture wearing Burberry Nova Plaid trousers than wearing grey glen plaid trousers, but plaid is plaid.)

For fans of "A-E In The Wild" pictures (and pictures with two different glen plaids in them).

Although the Leatherman patchwork Madras belt I am wearing does not match the Grey Suede Strandmoks, the socks (from Golf Knickers) have the same three colors, (pink, blue, and white) as the glen plaid shirt.

For fans of food pictures in shoe threads and for any matchoholics who have read this far and still haven't fled in horror about the shoes and belt not matching, the shirt and the macarons do match.

Last but not least, a picture attempting to balance out all the pictures of Bourbon (the kind in bottles, not shoes) that have been posted in this thread.

The equilibrium state of your CXL, possibly. We ought to just all buy leather this color since darker leather lighten over time to this and lighter leathers darken over time to this. :D
So true, but that takes some of the "fun" out of it. I now need to get the worn only 5 or 6 times Natty HM's out of the storage and do a side by side photo. Maybe tomorrow.
