I don't believe I saw an answer to this one. The Stuttgart is on the 108 last and the Madison Park is on the 222 last. Style-wise they appear to be nearly identical with the exception of the medallion on the Madison Park is a bit more intricate. According to the AE website on the lasts... 222 Last Known more simply as the 2 last, the 222 last has an elongated toe with a slightly higher instep and a more narrow fit in the forefoot creating a sleek silhouette and rounded European look. 108 Last Known more simply as the 8 last, the 108 last has an elongated forepart with a tapered and flatter toe. It is similar to the 222 last with a longer, narrower fit and a rounded toe. I own the Madison park and it's one of my favorites in appearance and fit. I personally could use perhaps a bit more instep allowance, but that's me. If your foot is more on the narrow side across the toes, I'd say go Stuttgart. Otherwise, go Madison Park. Here are a couple of real world pictures of the Madison Park.
Thanks for the info. My foot is a 9 EEE so I think the Madison is the way to go.

Nice! My favorite thing about shell is the color variation.
Speaking of color variation here is a peek at the most hated shoe of the year....the Union. Does this look like the same color to you? I think Allen Edmonds needs to look at this stuff.

I'm beginning to think they realized the shoes on sale were not top quality and instead of clearancing them they added a sale.

I ordered the Union and the Oak Street Navy. The Oak Street had lots of dents and scratches and the sides of the leather were wrinkled like crazy. Very disappointing.

Gentleweasels -

I have decided to sell off a few pairs that I just am not getting to for one reason or another. Thought you'd like first dibs:

Wolverine 721 in burgundy shell (AE-made) - 12 D, worn half a dozen times
Wolverine 744 in brown shell (AE-made) - 13 D, worn half a dozen times - still have the box and shoe trees
Eagle Country in black sharkskin - 12 EEE - worn 3x
Parrot in brown suede - 12 EEE - still has some life
Leeds (on the old 8 last) in burgundy shell with a natural split reverse welt - 12 E - recently recrafted, worn twice
Long Branch in grey - 12 EEE - worn half a dozen times

PM me for deets. As you can see, unlined shell didn't work that great for me. The only unlined I'm keeping are my walnut shell Daltons.

Wish those were all 12D!

The one on the left is a cool color, the one on the right is a completely different brown. How could anyone pair those two shoes?

Yikes! Really hard to believe that one person put both of these shows in the same box.

Just found these at the rack. Fullerton in what looks like snuff suede. $139.90 with 25% off, so $112 out the door.

Any info on them? They're in good shape. No seconds mark.

Wearing my brown Flagstaffs today.........

.....and remember shoes, when used as directed, are made for walking.

If you don't walk enough, you may end up being one of these.

Got my replacement HMs in today and while the don't have the weird striping I had before, now one boot has a bit of a dent in the toe. Seems pretty common so I guess I'll have to live with it. Making me believe there were problems with the entire boot line so that's why they put them on sale immediately. Too many issues it seems.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes.  The prognosis from the Cancer doc wasn't good.  She is in Stage III.  At most the treatments can be done but they are about $5500 and that only gets her another year of life and she may be sick during that time.  Sad really sad....I'm praying she gets better.  They gave her a few meds to help with swelling.

Oh, man... I was really hoping that wasn't going to be the case. Really hope things get better for her. The Rivs are thinking about you. Keep us updated.

I'm a firm believer that a diet can have a pretty large affect on cancer. Maybe look into alkaline foods that you can feed your dog? I'm sure some of the doctors on here might chime in to tell me I'm wrong, but so much that goes on inside the body is attributed to what you put in it.

Good luck! We are rooting for her.

Consider yourself lucky! I've been trying to find those but have had no luck. Very nice, indeed, and a great price. You never know what you'll find at the Rack...

I'd be curious to see what they look like. After you get a dozen or so wears in them I doubt you would even notice, although now that I said that, its all you'll see.

Speaking of the Rack, if anyone comes across a pair of Kiowa in 8E, 8.5D or 8.5E, I sure would appreciate a PM.

I found a pair in what I think is waxed rough out, but they were 9.5D and a pair in pebble grain, but they were 8D. Soooo bummed!
