Yes. See below. I have the pair pictured as well as the same in No. 8 shell, tan suede ("dirty bucks") and white nubuck with red rubber soles ("white bucks").

I think it is probably more straight forward to take suede Modified last make-up to Moulded since they have done many before. I'd rather see this thread get traction with Alden for some special shells.

Yeah - mine were listed as black on the receipt also. The lady on the phone said if they ended up actually being black shoemart will take care of things.

Right. Not really worried. Might even keep black. Who knows. Mine are listed as shipped this morning, so if all goes well, I should have them on Friday.

TSM Irregulars #8 Cap Toes:





Nothing obviously wrong with them, that I can see. Maybe one or two slight imperfections in the finish, but better than a pair of Whiskey shell firsts I just bought because they are balmorals and 11E...

Immediate impression is that the modified last fits me very well through the arch, instep, and heel. I bet I could wear the elusive 10.5E, but I won't hold my breath until I find those.
