Very very nice. I'd suggest a brown suede and maybe chelsea boot. Could also add a darker oxblood color in there too, or something "weird" like blue or green (See PhatGuido's ones)

Very impressive shoe wardrobe in such little time. Well done.
I especially like to see that you have a healthy array of brown shoes.
I agree that some suede and boots are next. Then leave SF forever lest the sickness overtake you,
or is it already too late?

I noticed that too but my first several pairs of shoes worth wearing were black. I thought they would go with everything. It took about 6 months and $1000 or so to realize that grey, burgundy, sand and shades of brown were far more versatile.

I started telling myself "no more shoes" last month... then I bought three more pairs. If you guys would just stop posting PSAs and B&S deals, I would be fine

I live in San Francisco, and aside from business trips, I don't have to deal with winter weather. Otherwise, I definitely would have picked up some boots by now.

I think it's too late! Right now, I'm counting on my limited storage space to keep things under control. That'll work, right?

Actually, my fear is that the SF influence will drive me to try EG, JL or a MTO and I'll find myself swapping everything out.

I started reading SF about 7 months ago, and have bought 4 pairs of shoes. That's as much restraint as I've been able to manage. (I prefer full throttle EG compared to Loake etc, so quality over quantity). I've covered all the bases I'm intested in covering, save for non-existent abusable balmoral rubber-soled boots, so I think I'll manage to hold of for a good while now.

I have about 8 workday shoes, so If I'm only wearing a shoe once every week and a half, that's enough variety for me.

About half are black. I intend to keep it >50% black forever. You can't beat black w/ suits IMO.

Many boots really aren't for cold weather per se...but they can be very comfortable, a bit better in cool temperatures (which SF has plenty of) and just there to give you a different look. Something like a nice Chelsea is great in going from office to dinner/out...bc it's a touch more casual than a balmoral.

The AS for TRL is probably the most elegant shoe.
