Absinthe in NYC

Does any bar in NYC serve this the traditional way? I can't recall if only the 'still illegal' version is served like that, but if not, I'd like to try it when I'm there.

you mean with the sugar, water, and perforated spoon? if so, i'd imagine almost every place that serves any version of absinthe would...the sales rep would probably give them the spoon.

You mean using a water fountain with a spigot?

Yes! There's a great place in Williamsburg that has ALL of the absinthe accoutrements and great restored 19th century parlor rooms to drink it in.
