Anyone able to provide a chest/waist measurement for a size 15 TM? Stupid sizing guide doesn't even have body measurements.

How about CT's ties? They have some nice-looking ones, but don't know their quality or durability.

If their ties are not recommended, which ones would people here receommend?

Thanks.

CTs ties seemed pretty substantial in the stores, but last time I checked most of them were made in china, for what that's worth.

On current sale just picked up 4 for ~86 bps ($156) shipped to the US. I got a few of their shirts in the UK this summer, and at under $40 a shirt shipped its a good deal.

I've picked up several CT ties over the years and the quality has def. diminished. With respect to their Spring/Summer 08 collection, the ties are not "plush" at all. The texture and thickness of the silk feels fake and similar to cardboard. However, the cost of such continues to increase....go figure.

I was looking at these two (first is made in Italy, the second in China):

They do look beautiful on their site.

Where else would you recommend I buy some decent ties?

Thanks.

For what it's worth, I probably will not purchase another tie from CT. Alternatively, I've found a lot of incredible ties via Buying and Selling section of this site. You may also want to browse the selection on Yoox.com as well as the affiliates listed at the top of this page. I've purchased quality items from Virtual Clothes Horse as well as eHaberdasher, fwiw. Lastly, Saks.com and Neimanmarcus.com have regular sales on quality neckwear. Goodluck in your hunt!

Get yourself over to the Buying and Selling section, and look through OspreyGuy and Adambparker's threads. Some incredible deals to be had. I'm struggling to hold back buying.
