These jeans are amazing. I'm sure by now everyone has heard of the similarity between the 5EP denim and that on R45RPM jeans. Really deep, rich color. And the cut is terrific too. I wear a pair in this size, am a true 30 waist, and the jeans fit relaxed on me. But they shrink with successive washings (2 so far for me.) Or at least, the raw ones I wear do. In any case, not at all a bad deal.

The 5EP straight is has a higher rise and are baggier through the hips and thighs. I really don't think that they would fit you. I've asked around about the size 29s, no luck. Sorry. You might want to phone the company directly...

Just a tiny bit higher on 5ep. My 30" waist rrds is 10" rise. 5ep is 10.5" rise

I'd second calling 5ep directly, but it might be hard to get a pair, cause they didn't make a SS07 line.

They skipped the SS07 season casue they wanted to take some time to work on and release a full mens and womens line for FW08 - should be shipping in Aug/Sept...
