My last experience with a button-neck sweater ended in disillusionment: a St. James nautical knit that weighed as much as an anvil. Considering, with trepidation, breaking my embargo on these types of sweaters.....

Managed to snag an Inis Meain marled brown crewneck in the brief time they were restocked. Arrived today. Feels great and fits perfectly. Looking forward to getting to wear it for a casual outing at some point soon.

Greg, on the Inis Meain cardigan, since this are MTO, is it possible to get the front made with a zipper closure, instead of button?

I know. I like the button design, but already have two cardigans that are similar. Wanted a zipper front for something different. I think they've made them in the past, so if it's possible, I'd appreciate the modification on my order. I think I'll still order the cardigan in brown though. Will decide on the color in a few days.
