For sure. I want to thank Greg and the NMWA crew for making a visit to SF. For those that haven't had the pleasure, Greg is a true gentleman, and his patience and passion for the NMWA mission is quite inspiring. Someone mentioned this above, but seeing the goods in person really makes a world of difference (especially for those of us that are a little gun shy about higher volume buying and returning).

Finally, I'd like to apologize for my and some of my friends' poor manners -- though we do appreciate your kindness in allowing us to buy the clothes off your trunk show racks. Hopefully the result is that next time you'll bring more threads.

(Btw, the sheer insanity of that Norwegian Rain Arctic coat cannot be appreciated in pictures. We got the last M, but we would have bought an entire rack of them just to keep that kind of power from falling in the wrong hands.)

Agree on the NR piece...I have never considered something that heavy duty to be "elegant," yet that piece was unusual in striking that balance. Incredible quality.

In case you didn't know, Greg is really passionate and knowledgeable about his products. Meeting him confirms my suspicions that he would make an awesome Bond villain. About the products: while some items photograph really well or benefit from hype/people's fitpics, others need to be checked out in person.

NR could easily join my various coats that I'll hoard and never get to wear here in the bay area. Impressive details and much more interesting than say Mackintosh.

Formosa, Inglese and Vass were all expectedly nice. CM easymode for someone like me who doesn't wear suits often.

There's something not on the site yet that I'll most likely be buying.

Greg, it was great to see you and it was great to see and try on all of the kit in person on Friday (really like the changes you made to the Eidos fit vs last year). The Force was strong, but I resisted (mostly - a tie & PS, don't count - that's like buying a postcard to commemorate a trip, right?). I'm holding out to see if I get the London gig we discussed, then I'll be in need of more flannel ;-)

Thanks again for the dinner on Friday as well. I really had a great time. I'll have to take Team NMWA out for drinks next time I'm in NYC.

I was there about 1ish on Friday. Lots of very nice things. Eidos Hunting jacket and the green Formosa hopsack were my favs.

Nope. Agreed. I'd kop if it weren't for the fact the sleeves of all Eidos suiting/SCs I've tried doesn't work for me. Whomp whomp. But I've been fortunate with their casual pieces, thankfully.

You mean the brown Eidos DB? It was a 46/36, and likely R not S. I liked it, though not something I'd immediately spring for. Felt a little on the dandy side, but doable.

I always thought I was too small to rock a DB well, but that jacket worked on my frame.

The trunk show was great. I had a lot of fun talking to Greg, Fok, Gus, Ian, and everyone else (and more folks at dinner). Co-sign all the nice things about Greg. I really appreciated having the time to look through the fabric books. I'll probably regret not ordering a couple TYT ties. There were some great fabrics, one of which Fok tried to get me to have made into a bespoke shacket.
