I'm a 10.5 Brannock and wear size 10 in the Alden Barrie last, after searching around this thread I'm thinking of going with a size 43 in a Buttero tanino low. Does that sound right to anyone else that is around my size? Thanks

@AJL

That's crazy. I'm also 5'7 @ 155, roughly 17.25" shoulders...and I consistently wear a 46/36S in most SCs (admittedly, none of the kind you're referring to). Maybe a 38 if it's cut super slim.

I think this ridiculous SF rain is pushing me toward that Mountain Parka. Ugh.

Do it! (Parka I mean. Where's stitch when u "need" him?). Looks like a great piece. I would seriously consider it if it had a non-wool lining (sensitivity to wool).

I keep looking at the navy basketweave LBM overcoat myself. I can't decide whether I like the texture or think it's a little too much.

That's what I'm wondering as well. Pretty sure it won't blend in with the other anonymous navy overcoats in a crowd, which could be a + or - depending on perspective.

TTS. fairly slim but super comfy.
I am a rota 48 for the wool trousers and happily wearing the 32.

Thanks for this. 50 in Rota here, sounds like a 34 for me. Not too low a rise, I would hope?

I tried on a pair of Butteros in 44 today and they were decidedly too small. My toes were right up there, not really bent so to speak but still felt way too small. I feel like this would be a good opportunity to kop some, but I'm a bit hesitant if the 45s would fit. The models I'm interested in are the Low or the hight top slip ons. I'm a 11.5UK in Edward Green Galways, last 82, and 11.5UK in Carmina Rain. Would a gamble be worth it, since they are supposed to fit large to size?

Any pics in the wild of the high top? They look cool, but I'm not sure how they would work irl.

Maybe @gdl203 can tell us what he likes about it.
It's quite subtle actually. Just interesting enough - very tasteful.

I'm listening...

OT- just realized your avatar is RTJ logo, kind of a funny juxtaposition with the CM vibe. :)

What, but I just saw this SF meetup photo in the 20 Thumbs Minimum MC thread...

There's even a guy in a suit in it. That's El-P, right?

Thanks Stitchy, I love it--but my lady friend does not care for it :(.

I wear it anyways. I just don't think she understands the Schneider yet.

I wear 43s. I'm an 11.5 Brannock with a slightly narrow foot. They were tight for the first many wears, but broken in, they are a good fit.

Anyone have some fit pics of the Schneider Decks hooded jacket? That piece looks to be a complete steal right now.

I wear the exact same sizes as you, 10.5 regular shoes and a 10D on the barrie last and a 43 fits me very well after they break in.
