I think they may have had trouble moving Inglese in that size - think there was a bunch in the last archive sale
Ah ok, I didn't realize it was based on neck size. Seems like 37 equates to roughly a US 14.5 and 38 would be 15.We never carried neck size 36* shirts - we used to start at 37 but just kept accumulating unsold size 37 shirts on the Inglese shelves so we now start at 38
* as a reminder, these are neck sizes, not chest sizes.
Ya I picked up a 38 camp collar square seersucker 2 seasons ago and the shoulders fit a little too broad and don't look right, but maybe that's because the fabric is so stiff and doesn't drape very well. I'll have to give 38 another go in a looser fabric.I find most inglese runs very slim so you're probably fine sizing up tbh
I don't think you can size up on shirts the way you might size up on, like, a sweater. The collar size tends to be the collar size and can't be altered. If you size up you may fit better in the chest but the neck will be too large.I find most inglese runs very slim so you're probably fine sizing up tbh

Awesome! I’ll call Monday and try to snag a ticket to NYC this week to get fitted. That price is incredible, been looking around and didn’t make sense any other way. Also you heard what happened to Pluto? That’s messed up right?I just did this process and it was a breeze. Had an appointment in November with some idea of what I wanted, Greg patiently walked me through the options and process and had me measured. Then, went back in ~12 weeks later for a final fitting. The tux fit great, except for some minor adjustments as I lost weight.
The value is also excellent. I was also looking at other MTM tuxedos from Italy and was quoted $3.2k+ elsewhere whereas my tuxedo was ~$2200, so you're definitely in good hands both taste and cost-wise. Good luck!
