Yes, I spoke to them and found out they will be on the MH71.

I'm impartial to the DG70. I have all 3 of the lasts from GG and I would only like to move forward with the DG70, it suits my tastes the best.

i want the st james in polo suede. jus sayin.

That was what I was going in for originally as well, and then I looked at it with Tony and for my wardrobe he recommended the mole. May still have to get a second pair in polo at some point.

When you say St. James though, do you mean just the St. James, or are you willing to consider the St. James II?

Hi guys,

Got my first pair of G&G recently, Cherry St. James II. Absolutely gorgeous!

One question, though. When I am walking on a hard even surface, stone of ceramic floor like in many office buildings, the shoes make a funny noise. The edge of the heel first connects with the floor, and almost immediately the rest of the heel before the sole does. It feels like the shank is very flexible allowing the heel to move a bit. The noise is of course exaggerated on a hard surface because of the brass nails.

Is this considered to be a "feature" of G&G, or should I be worried/take action?

The difference between the two is the embellishment on the heel cap - that little point. In the end I preferred the smooth line, though I think my reason for it - that the point was a bit informal for my tastes - is a bit ludicrous in hind sight.
