I thought I was working hard to put up 50 new items/week on ebay, but parisvegas, who usually does 200-400, this week has 1500!

Yow.

Many misspellings, so a careful search may be rewarded.

He has 2800 items up now. Couldn't believe that when I saw it last night. Should net him well over $100,000 in sales.

It's an amazing operation. Surely he doesn't pay for his inventory, but he's got to have some costs. So I doubt he'll net $100,00. That would take an average sale of about $35 per item(with every single item selling). And while he has lots of desirable stuff and easy selling items (like Brioni coats, Hermes ties, and NWT items), he also has a lot of crap(like unknown names & odd suit coats), that sells very low or not at all. I'd bet his average net sale (taking into account non-sales is closer to $15. That would produce a gross sale total of about $45,000 and a net of who knows what. As I said it's an amazing operation. It also amazes me that he could hire a web designer/copy writer and a photographer for what, about $1,000 a week and he could double or triple his average sale amounts. But he's free to run his business any way he wants. PS: He ought to hire you vman, for lets say $3,000 a week to do his web design, copy writing, and photography. It would pay for itself

So this came up on my search for Boglioli 38R:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Boglioli-Italy-B...ayphotohosting

Two questions:

1) snappydeals/blondysbay has had one 38R Boglioli each week. Now this guy has one. Is beverlyhillsbazaar affiliated with those guys?

2) did you know that there's a Prince of France?

That's certifiably insane. The past few months must have seen Las Vegas peak tourists season.

I'm sure VMan, A Harris, or any seasoned eBay sellers on this board spend enough time taking pictures and writing auctions, as is.

Beverlyhills-whatever is the latest incarnation of blondys-snappy, etc. But I must say I got a magnificent Zegna couture suit from him, less than 1 year old, for $450. Wife says... it looks odd. Took it to my tailor and he says that somebody butchered shoulders. Well, I have an amazing tailor who for $75 fixed it. He can do anything... except button holes in sleeves... but I found a guy in Dallas who does that.

Parisvegas has some amazing goods this week.

I think the current Prince of France is one of those pretenders to the throne.

There's no Prince of France. There's a whole bunch of inbred weirdos who think they're duke of X and prince of Y and pray for the resoration of monarchy, but they're really nothing at all - just a sad bunch... A good part of them look straight out of a Conan O'Brian "if they mated" segment
