I’ve been enjoying this new chukka style a lot since these arrived last week. Compared to the old Viberg chukka, these are much lighter and more comfortable. They’re unstructured and unlined, and the lacing feels more secure as the eyelets are placed further up the quarters. These leather soles are also very flexible - almost as flexible as Alden’s single waterloc soles. I’m a fan.
Which are these specifically? Material, last?

Is this implying that some tpr finish can be water resistant?

My tpr water spot very easily, is there any way to remove, like in shell?

Yea I have a pair as well. The previous owner removed the TPR and it spots, but I brush them after wearing them for the day and they are spot-free again. There's a single spot that doesn't seem to go away though.

That is my pair with the TPR intact. I am not sure of the reason but somebody theorized that the leather on mine probably had a little more time to cure. I wore that pair through a lot of snow, salt and slush and even tried getting it off with some Renomat unsuccessfully.

I know what people are going to immediately say .. “Why did you do that to your boots” clearly I scratched the leather by removing the dark brown edge dressing. I’m fine with the outcome. I believe they’ll look better with age when everything starts to blend itself together.

Specs & Makeup is the 2030 BCT service boot in Salvia Sego horsebutt.
- Leather is unlined from Maryam (no tpr)
- Brogue cap toe
- 8 gunmetal eyelets AA
- Dainite studded sole/Brown before I used the sandpaper.
- 845$ w/ 45$ shipping (2 day express)

My package took more like a week however to show up…it was stuck in customs for 2 days. First impressions from me…. Oh Maryam olive chromepak!?
