Okay. /r/goodyearwelt had first run at it, because I seem to be the only person who noticed this and that's where my loyalties lie.

Tate and Yoko very quietly put up the mooses at 3pm today. Still sizes left in 8, 8.5, 9 and 9.5 for both tan and for black, and 10 for black as of 3:10 right now. Nothing bigger was posted at all. No instagram announcement, no twitter, just a banner on their page earlier, and a quiet posting. Go get 'em.

Moose leather seems far too supple for a pair of work boots. Any feedback on that?

I agree, and no I don't assume that. I just wonder how such a soft leather will function on everyday wear in general.

I have the sample pair of the moose service boots that I bought back in November, the moose is soft and supple but it's supposed to be very strong. Moose leather is usually used for moccasins.

Not as work boots, but certainly as rugged boots. If you have a pair of Vibergs, and you put them away because it's raining or snowing out, you should have them confiscated and you should be fined.

I've never purchased boots from a manufacturer of the quality that Viberg's appear to be, so I'm a little lost on sizing. Do these tend to run true to size?

If anyone might know, what would be the translation from say Eastland boots to these?

I really want to know how "red" these look in direct sun. I've only ever found one photo of what appeared to be a guy wearing them, and they looked way too red to be the same ones Leffot pictured, but other details matched up. I'm amazed that I can't find more photos, given that this was Leffot's second—and likely last —run. I really liked that Leffot opted for an unstructured toe on a shell boot, something Viberg doesn't seem to do. I love the sleekness of that look.

Definitely one of my grails. If someone wants to unload a pair of 7.5, please let me know.

Freeman's NYC carries a selection of Vibergs as well.

I know they have them there as I got mine there but everytime I go there I never see them.
