Out for a bit on the weekend. My son (15yr-old) has become quite the addict - whenever we have some time he asks to go thrifting.

Canali - Cashmere blend overcoat
Paul Smith
John Varvatos - Linen mesh zip up hoodie?
Varvatos (Star) USA - Linen sweater
Lacoste - Cashmere V-Neck
Lindeberg - Merino V-Neck
Gant - Cotton V-Neck
Fluevog Chukkas
Florsheim Imperial - Kudu PTB

I used to be able to beat the old ladies to the fresh racks if I take an early lunch but they're all out in force early now and giving me the "I drink your milkshake" look when I walk in. Wtf did Oprah or Ellen retire from their talk shows or something?

Still pulled a pop but not really thrift price.

Nice find on the Diptyque. I always check the candles just in case.

:rotflmao:LOL Truer words have never been spoken. Then they give you the death stare when you are browsing anywhere close to their vicinity. I am not new to thrifting at all but I've come out empty handed even more so than usual. I respect the hustle of those in here who are selling but I am just looking for things for myself and have struck out the last 8-10 times.

Thank you! anything on the Breitling?
You're very welcome!

Full disclosure: I'm just googling "real vs fake" guides and have never thrifted a decent watch unlike many others around here.

From what I can tell, the Breitling logo on the face should be more raised and the engraving on the back shouldn't be so shallow. :(

@Abovenolaw the case back engravings and logo should be recessed/in relief. Same with “Breitling” on the clasp. Also missing serial no. on case back.
