A little while ago, Alden San Francisco carried this (Cigar, straight tip blucher) shoe up until that rumor about retailers being discouraged from advertising their exotic shells on line. I would call Alden SF and DC and check their stock. I wouldn't be surprised if they have your size. Call DC first as Kathy oversees the stock of both stores. Good luck my friend!

Thanks for the tip. So far all my Aldens have been 14D, or 13.5D...all from TSM. I do have a pair of unlined Brooks Brothers Aldens that fit in 13E. I have a pair of 14B, and 4 pairs of 13E arriving tomorrow. If...those 13E fit I've got a chance at some of the non-advertised rare colors fitting. Fingers crossed!

Well they did not have any Cigar shoes or boots in my size, or any other rare colors. However....I scored 2 Cigar belts!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fortunately big guys wear big belts. They had 2 in size 42 and I got them both.

If you know your Barrie size and can be patient, I recommend looking up this ebay user (beutiful_loozer) every once and awhile. He's managed to source multiple BNIB #8 LWB on several occassions. He starts his auctions at around $450 and sold 3 pairs recently at that price. The pair that I won 18 months ago was absolutely factory-fresh. My feeling is that the user may be associated in some manner with Haberdash in Chicago.

I've debated buying from him, but he has a lot of negative feedback for not shipping items. You must have been one of the lucky ones to get a pair.

For what it's worth...I've heard from multiple Alden stores that Alden is no longer making belts. They told me today they have found a new vendor to make the non-cordovan belts but it's still up in the air on cordovan. Not good news in the belt dept.

For those of you with Indy boots, did yours come with the cloth shoe bags or not? When I got mine from needsupply the came packaged in plastic bags but there were no cloth shoe bags in the box. This isn't really a deal breaker for me, just curious if I'm the only one that has experienced this
