Compared to the fitting of the 5 (Strand) I find the Barrie to be .5 large and .25 wide.
I would suggest you size down .5 in the barrie, so 9.5D.

I wear the same in Park Ave and Barrie. AE-5 is a long last.

If I wear 8.5 Indy boots what size should I get for the LWB and LHS?

I also do tend to have a wider/flatter foot.

I wear 11.5e in barrie. Went with 12e in grant boot. It's a little narrow for me, but the shell stretched a bit. Length is TTS, so just a tad longer than 11.5e barrie.

Ok thanks. The barrie is a tad narrow for me in an D to begin with so i'll size up on the width as well as the 1/2 size on length.

My color 8 PTBs look like a much brighter red. I wish mine looked as dark as yours. Mine are fairly new and have not been out very often. Are they likely to darken with more exposure to sun and other light?

What about a comparison of the AE 5-65 last with the Barrie? I have 2 pairs of Alden right now, both 10D, but they're Alden for BB (one a black captoe balmoral, one a pair of tassel loafers, both shell). For reference the AE 5-65 last fits perfectly at 10D in my Strands and shell Cambridge. My Oakstreet trail oxfords in 10D are a bit loose and my Eastland Made in Maine trail oxfords are a bit snug but good at 9.5D.

Of course, before last year I always thought I was a 10.5

I wear the same size in the Barrie as I do in AE's 5 last - 9D.

I am TTS 9.5D.

Thanks for the tip.  Just got off the phone with Rob (he mentioned he has been slammed by SF members) and ordered a pair of #8 LWBs.  I should have them within two weeks.

Still looking for the cap toe cigar.  Looks like Shoe Mart is the only place to order them, they are out of my size and told me I can put in an order, but it will be next April before they are delivered.

Try Citi Shoes, they have cigar captoe on the website.

Just ordered a pair of #8 LHS from Rob..thanks for the tip Wes Bourne!
I ordered 8.5D in Van Last and wear 9D in Grant Last, do they fit half a size smaller compare to TTS Grant?
cheers

TTS - 9.5D
Grant - 9.5D
Barrie - 9D
Van - 9C (too much heel slippage in the 9D for me; and I do wear them without socks all the time)

Another NRO code for 20% off this weekend, and another Alden exclusion. I think they've been excluded on at least the last 3 or 4 codes. Seems like the days of getting Alden at 20-25% off from them might be gone.
