Would love to hear opinions on THE best ways to maintain collar roll on OCBD’s through washes or dry cleaning ... particularly for BB & Spier MacKay

Thanks in advance.

Looks similar to the Mr. B collar. (You can google that.) Not sure if you can find one nowadays off-the-rack.

Currently wearing an Eidos OCBD. Antonio said he copied his dad’s mid-50s Brooks OCBD collar. It’s really good. Totally unlined. He might have made the rear collar band slightly higher, but otherwise it resembles other button downs that try to recreate the mid-century shape. It has a button in the back. The rest of the shirt has more Italian shirt details, true to Eidos’ original fusion of Northeast/Ivy and Southern Italy. It's got no pocket, long mitered cuffs, no back pleat, and it's darted.

I need some new OCBDs, been years since I replaced my old Kamakura.

Would prefer plain or university stripe shirts. Any go to brand/make nowadays? I feel like Kamakura new iteration a year or two ago changed the collar roll. That LL Bean does look nice with a tie @Roycru, and I imagine at a pretty good price too. How does it launder? Do wrinkles set in a lot? I hand steam press all my shirts but I imagine a dry cleaner can better press out if need.

Brooks Brothers everything seems too slim and screw their customer service.

I want to try out Spier & McKay but unsure of sizing...good price though so maybe worth trying a few rounds to get the fit right, return shipping notwithstanding.

I have in the past, their collar did not roll much. I recall it being quite flat. If I opt with GV I rather go with Portuguese Flannel. Thanks! @Clouseau

I have a rather good result with mine...
Otherwise i like very much Gant Rugger repros (without logo) that they do from time to time, but they are hard to find.
And I heard only good things by @Botolph about Ratio Clothing shirts...
