Probably should have noted I ordered a day or two before the new site went live, so this is likely the reason. The UPS email was a pleasant surprise; I wasn't anxious about when it would arrive.

Hey folks, looking at the peacoat. How does it fit compared to the sport coat's? My chest is about 36", but the 34 looks like it lines up, but not sure if I should take the 36 or that.

From reading other reviews in this thread, most say snug and to order your TTS if you don't plan on wearing over top of a sport coat. Or 1 size up if you do.

No doubt S&M makes awesome pieces, but man do they need to work on their returns (6 week and have not yet heard about my return), finishing (two polo had a dark pen marks and hopsack jacket had a snag), and the website is still has issues.

Hard to buy more when it is not the cleanest purchasing process

If the return was via USPS, then the process is a pain, as mentioned, it's through a 3rd party to truck back across the border and that process from the 3rd party is taking way long. You can email [email protected] to get an update.

For the past few weeks we have been using UPS as returns, and those are coming back within 5 days and being processed quickly.

Definitely size up if you plan to wear a sc or even cardigan or small pullover. I didn't size up and kind of regret it. It's as snug as Danie Craig's stuff in the recent James bonds it looks good but not very practical when you have difficulties in bending your elbow

Just received first spier and mackay suit in the mail.

any feedback on fit would be appreciated - i can never get the back collar to fit flat on almost any suit jacket or blazer I have and not sure if the shoulders are a proper fit?

I am no expert and it is hard to tell fully from the pic, but you may benefit from going one size up IMO. What size is this suit you are wearing?
