...and, after Yoox, I breezed through ShopTheFinest who apparently just got a boatload of Barba's. With all my staples already well covered, I snagged an "alternative" type grey'ish brown with a subtle nailhead. I think it's going to be interesting to see how/where I can work it in.

As an aside, this is the first Barba I can think of that I've seen with double button cuffs.

A lot of great summer/spring sport coats right now as well. Just picked up an Orazio Luciano...I'll get some pics up this week. First experience with OL...very nice.

Its an all-seasons 11oz-ish weight wool, not sure the thread count.
And yes its a suit.

Indeed, I thought Borrelli's look like this on the inside:



This is from a suit from 2008, does it mean that the quality of newer suits is lower, or am I reading too much in this?

I think the general consensus is that whilst the overall quality is still very high end, costs had to be cut somehow or other and as such modern items may not have as much detailing (be that in choice of buttons, handwork, cloth used etc).
