YES Chop Sticks-- Unique Product. The original one was designed for nose picking. Then another china-man copied it and now we have two.

Onto the subject, Frankie, it is true that most designers of that ilk make some of their products or even entire lines in the Far East. My opinion regarding said products is that they are of poor quality and exasperatingly expensive. Personally, I prefer buying European whenever/wherever I can, for quality as well as political reasons.

In my experience (from personal purchases), whereas the Chinese are capable of producing top quality products (i.e. my MacBook Pro, iPhone, iPod, etc, are truly top notch), I can not say the same thing about the clothes of designers such as Ralph Lauren, Dior, etc.

+1 I agree. The only reason RL is made in China is because the marginal benefit is much higher since the production costs almost equal to 0 (figurative speech) but the prices in retail are the same as if the products would be made in Europe... that actually saddens me but oh well..

This war has no good ending.
At the end of the day, you are the consumer, you decide whether to buy or not to buy.

I chuckle at some of our local brands (Australia) that offer clothes that has the label that states 'Italian fabric', instead of the traditional 'Made in xxx'. Then when you go scavenging to find out where they are made, true enough, hidden elsewhere it states - Made in China.
And they charge you USD$150 & above for the shirt.

I have no qualms about where it is made but you have to set your price accordingly.

One must express one's feelings of embarrassment and above all apologise for the racist and ignorant tones of my colleagues on this imbecilic rant which is in extreme bad taste. If you're going to use racist tones about the Chinese, or any other foreigners you may as well include Ralph Lauren born Ralph Lifshitz to Ashkenazi Jewish immigrants....Maybe you can make jokes about cream cheese bagels too. Manners, not money, maketh man,
