I'm still trying to get a sense of what the F last looks like. Here are two pictures of boots from Slewfoot and Manton, both on the F
Vass wing-tip blucher boots, F last:

AAWhile these fit perfectly and are fantastic, I may just want to re-order them with different stylings. If someone is willing to take these at the listed price (a $100 discount from normal ordering) before 8/22 when I'd have to re-order from Kolecho, but otherwise I'm keeping them. I wore them outside for only 1/2 hour today walking to Grand Central and they still have the original box and dust bags. JR leather soles that are double tapering to a single with a subtle beveled waist. The most accurate color is the 1st photo. Any questions let me know.

They look so different.

Keep in mind that shoes of different sizes can look quite different in terms of proportions even if they share a common last. The following pics are all size 43:

Here is a comparison shot - black captoe is F-last (monk is K, Tr-cognac brogue is U)

Here is a single shot of that shoe:

And an F-last Museum calf:

F last is a great all-rounder, IMO. Looks great as a shoe, chukka or tall boot.

I think the 82 last is definitely sleeker and more narrow towards the toe than the F last. The F is a bit more classic in style.

In the next 48 hours, I will post two or three good options and request indications of interest to determine winning design(s). After that we'll open up the order book and take deposits, then get it in the production queue.

This is happening.
