New Henry Carter and Carmina pieces on maiden voyage today.

This is such a relaxed and comfortable-looking ensemble I wish I could thumb it twice; once will have to do, I'm afraid. In any event thanks: just looking at it lowers my blood pressure.

That said, I do somewhat wish the shoes were less formal. I wouldn’t mention it except I know from your other postings that you have other pairs which I think might be a tad more consistent with the rest of the outfit.

Just one man’s personal preference, of course.

Cheers,

Ac

Another ordinary day, and an uncomfortable effort at looking comfortable and also getting everything in from the limited view of my built-in camera...

Apart from the shoes - but I just won't wear loafers - it's all very Ivy today: vintage early 60s jacket and burgundy woollen knit tie, BB ESGF college stripe shirt, Rugged Museum olive serge trousers, burgundy Mazarin socks, and Bruno Magli Platinum captoes. No square - I decided that there was just too much going on with the jacket.

AS, as it relates to this fit, drive that tie outside of town, open the passenger door, and tearfully tell it to be free. Then unbutton that top button (or top two, go nuts) and grab a beer, content in the knowledge that you look darn good.

At that point, as a casual fit, you could probably take or leave the square.

I was about to inquire about the shoes, but I see that you responded a bit later in the thread. Very nice ensemble, I am never disappointed by your pictures!

This is excellent, in my book! You should post more!

Not to steal Cleav's thunder, but, were I to guess, I would say that they're Crockett & Jones Westbournes.

@Betelgeuse (hope I tagged the right one - the Mexico one) you consistently post great DB fits! SuitSupply should hire you to model their suits; you wear them way better than some of their models.

Iso, do you have wide hips for your slender waist? If so, this might explain a lot we couldnt really gather from your previous pictures

I'd like to give all of you a beer, but @The Noodles drank 'em all and is currently depreciating another suit.

Cheap old Oscar de la Renta tie from the 'bay. Like? No like? Today was it's first outing and I felt like only a conservative business dress frame would work for it, if it works at all.
