You've got a nice outfit.

And you've got a whiff of weirdness about you. But I'll keep an open mind. :)

Sweet jayzus, man. Have you no shame?

Yes, but I use it selectively.

Car studio presents: The Tie (R) - horror

This is dedicated especially to Mr SugarButch; socks chosen to be offensive AND matchy, in his sole honour (but at least the buttonholes are the right colour on this one).

I would have worn this for the Friday Challenge, but Friday and Saturday are the weekend, and although I frequently wear a jacket and tie anyway just for the heck of it (or for a Challenge), it wasn't practical this time. So I went "loud tie" today instead, just to show (im)moral support. Anyway, the Challenge didn't need another also-ran.

I've also discovered that something has splashed on my lapel. Probably wouldn't have, had I not taken these pics. Thanks, SF...
I can't believe you despise denim and cargo pants, but have no shame in wearing something like this

The shoes look great though!

Really like this one; interesting colours and good overall look.

Not sure what to think of this. Looks a bit small
confused.gif

That's an interesting obversation, given that lots of people tend to think my regular stuff is too big! Seriously though, it is most definitely a (c)leaner & shorter jacket than I generally prefer and it's totally unpadded which also makes it look smaller as there's no shoulder extension/padding. Definitely not an everyday look for me... but for a change, once in a while in summer, I actually like it. You might be interested in the side/side comparison with the new SS Napoli model that I got in the same size (which has shoulder padding/extension and is a bit fuller across the chest). That suit looks much more like my usual self, but it measures very similarly across the shoulder, seam-seam.

Specs:

Holland & Sherry Summer-weight three-piece suit

The Armoury Lapel Pin in Rose Gold

Sam Hober Macclesfield tie

Turnbull & Asser pocket square

Socks by Gammarelli

Hand-polished shoes

I started to sweat for you, until I saw the suit was a Summer-weight. I think the fit calls for a full-body shot.

Thanks Mimo. Yes, hand polishing shoes is time consuming, though I find it therapeutic at times -- when I'm trying to do smth mindless.

Tbh -- if you're in an air-conditioned area all day, or even stroll briefly outside in the heat, one can get by relatively comfortably in a summer weight suit paired with lightweight voile shirting which was what I was wearing.

These below are some fit pictures I have. The trousers were already spot on so I didn't bother to try them. Hope they help:

And, a clearer shot:

I've heard of ways to get those pictures from your camera directly into a computer, so you don't have to take pics of the screen pics of your camera. Really convenient.
