Samuelsohn dark blue wool pinstripe suit/Land's End Button-down shirt/AE Cliftons/AE belt/Metropolitan Museum of Art tie. Critiques welcome.

While there's an argument that the tie doesn't need to reach the belt of low rise trousers, this one should absolutely be tied longer. You're kinda swimming in that suit. Old dog is probably on the extreme loose end of the range I'd consider wearing a suit.

I like the fabric and the jacket seems to fit quite nicely around the shoulders so your fit isn't totally off. Your trousers are pretty big though and I thing it would flatter you more to have a slimmer (without being skinny) pair. Also, the tie needs to be longer.
Shoes look nice as well. Big fan of that model.

I don't know how much of this is the photo vs. the actual fit, but you look quite a bit heavier in this photo than the one you posted in MC Casual.

Photographic evidence to support Van Veen's excellent point. That suit is doing your physique no favors.

What hurts more than the fit is the slouch. I think if you were standing up straight it'd look a bit better.

Not trying to start a cat fight, but give this man some advice he can use, "longer ties?" come on! Like that will fix this look. How about, "button up the jacket, stand up straight (if you can) and shorten the pants a bit, just for starters." Then rephotograph so we can see what this suit looks like. it probably is too baggy, but I can't tell with this posture and the jacket unbuttoned. And I'll give him that maybe, just maybe, he isn't going for the "just got me my MBA, where all the white wimmen at" look that seems to be in fashion on the forum. Hell, I'll go so far as to say it: that suit would look better with black shoes and a black belt.

What does that even mean?

I agree on the black shoes black belt suggestion...

I suppose it's another way of saying "young, dumb, and full of come" or "full of piss and vinegar." In short, the subject in the photograph is not. He's a grown man, and it's ok if his fit isn't just like a young stud's fit. He doesn't need to worry about the length of his tie. He's got bigger problems. And, judging by that photo, he needs more basic help. That's what I was getting at.
