Great suit, Cravate. Looking to see it with more shirts / ties.

Thanks for the comments, guys - I ended up going with the white square. Just seemed natural. Shirt sleeves are too long, when I don't button them :embar:

The jacket is a touch short, and the buttoning point is on the higher side of things, which makes it look like the waist is much higher than it actually is, and it visually shortens his torso. The advantage is that it makes him look a touch more broadchested, but the downside is that it doesn't really help with his length. Seems a fair trade-off to me, tbh, but I can imagine how other people would think differently.

Edit: I was responding to Gladhands, if it was unclear.
thanks for putting that into words! I've always wondered how can I make myself look abit taller (I'm short @ 5'5) without screwing up all the other proportions.

Gnatty I've been looking for a herringbone SC like that. Very nice jacket and combination as usual. Care to share the maker?

Gnatty, I am a firm supporter of you and your neck, but for some reason this fit is making you look a little rounder about the mid section, and I think it is because of the pants. Is the jacket hiding a pleat?

Doesn't matter, Spoo. Now we got to cut you. That's the rule.

The pictures are very blurry, is that a suit jacket?

Sorry for the blurry pics - it's THE jacket I've been coveting forever, & it turned up in B&S, just for me - 3 patch pocket SC. I high-fived myself as soon as I saw it.

But still, come on - a suit jacket? You must think I'm mktitsworth.

I can't tell whether this is a comment on my dressing ability, or my photography skills.

Edit: Or is this referring to the lapels of awesomeness?

Old Dog - definitely one of your better fitting suits...

Cravate - I'm not sold on the bowtie+contrast collar shirt (is there a name for these)... you always look good though.

NYRanger - is taht SC one that we all commented last time about needing to be let out? It's a good overall fit I think but just too tight at the button that it makes you look stuffed into it IMO.
