Will there be a restock of the blue Donegal Trousers? I'm kicking myself for not picking up a pair!

For those that own the Wool & Cashmere Navy trousers are they more of a traditional navy or midnight almost black navy?

wj4,

I'm not Mike, but I've asked him the same question before, as I own a pair of those pants in a different color.

IIRC, his response was that all of Epaulet's cotton pants are 100% machine washable, and that the explanation behind the tag is due to the fact that he has a surplus of those "DRY CLEAN ONLY" tags.

I've washed mine a bunch of times, and I can attest to the fact that they are machine washable. :)

Edit:

Ah, here we go:

Yes, my apologies for that. Try as I may, I can't get that dry clean tag off the pants. Certainly not for a lack of asking.

But take it from me - any Epaulet cotton trousers are fully machine-washable. If you wash cold and hang dry, any shrinkage is going to be minimal to none. I wash all of my pants this way. The only thing that you'll need to dry clean are wools and linens.

I definitely advise keeping them out of the dryer, though. You may or may not get shrinkage, but chances are good that you'll get a really ugly color fade if you do it often. Once or twice is no big deal, but I would definitely stress to them that they should be hang-dryed. And if your pants ever split on the seat, waist, or leg seams for any reason, don't panic. It's a very easy and inexpensive fix for a tailor to do.
Thanks a bunch, jslade. Looks like my bank is taking a major hit before the year ends, haha. :embar:

a bit of off camera lighting? or some photoshop wizardry? or both? this is awesome (tho my favorite of KG's entries is still probably the first with the denim--just so relaxed and casual and cool). i need to get my strobist moves on if i am going to have any chance to compete in this competition. but i have no tripod these days, and am never home from work when it's daylight. and my closet is nowhere near as cool.

breaking the rules a bit, but i wanted to try out a little more KG-style composition. From the same photo shoot as earlier (iPhone 4S with a remote timer program, worked out ok). No shot for tomorrow, gotta wear a suit. Need to think of some good ideas for the rest of the week and get my 7D involved.

This is GREAT!

Don't you say that, bro. I'm praying for a no-snow winter. Remember last year?

I'm still waiting for a plow...

How the hell is anybody supposed to compete with KG's compositions? Oh, and now I must have every shirt in Mike and Adele's inventory. Great shot there KG.

I think may find a way...

Definitely more of a midnight. (See my competition entry #2.) Fabric has an incredibly smooth hand.

wow that strawberry thief print is stunning - shame it's sold out in my size

Guys, that Strawberry Thief print is baller. Would make an awesome jacket lining. Heck, I'd pick up a pair of underwear in that print!
