Drake's vs Natalino Jeans

Slim build. Looking to pair jeans with soft tailored jackets on occasion. Because of duties on Natalino to ship to Canada, the price between Drake's and Natalino is basically the same.

I don’t think either Drake’s or Natalino is at the pinnacle of jeans manufacturing. The last pairs of jeans I bought were from Blackhorse Lane Ateliers - but you’ll have the same problem with them as with Natalino, re duties - and Big John - which I bought from Okayama Denim. I also rate Iron Heart. At the risk of being fatuous, I have to ask: have you considered Naked & Famous, which are made in Canada?

Thanks a lot for your reply. No, I hadn’t. I know basically nothing about jeans. Is there a particular pair you recommend? Looking for a relatively straight fitting pair with a slight taper and high rise in a light to mid wash.

Vancouver. It seems like the rise is a bit lower than Natalino and Drake’s, right?

I think you’re right about that. Anyway, you could take a look at, say, La Maison Simons.
