Career Paths: Public relations?

Hi guys, So basically, I'm about to graduate high school - my last exam is on the 21st. After that, itll just be waiting to hear from my universities - but seeing as I kinda just threw the past 2 (very important I might add) years of high school down the *******, things don't look too good on that front. Thus, I've been looking at career paths that might not require university degrees as such, but rather, experience and personality. Been told that I have a way of connecting with people, if that helps (both in and out of the bedroom

). Love talking, entertaining people, all that jazz. So I've been looking at public relations as a possible career path - only thing is I'm not too sure how to get started there. I'm in Asia, with english as a native language and fluent mandarin, cantonese, spanish and basic italian so I guess I can count that as an advantage, but anyone got any advice on what I could do to get started in the aforementioned field? Cheers
