I would put this in the non-urgent tailoring category. I would just donate 7.50 to wikimedia, Claggy you getting soft
I'll go ahead. Re-did my equation and it still works. And I can tailor during NPC this way.

$150 in alterations.. and not getting what I want
vs
$15 and getting exactly what I want, right away

So after having the month to think about it, here's what I'm purchasing:

Irish Linen Taupe pants from HY
Tropical Wool Grey pants from HY
2x Panta ties
1x Luxire shirt

I think the total for that is like $$620 or so.

The rest of the panta ties (2x), sport coat from Kent and shirts from Luxire can wait. My girlfriends turning 31 and I need to dish out great amounts of cash for her to have fun because I called her a puma.

Not a bad list, Jester.

I'm planning on buying 4 black label shirts from Tyrwhitt since I'll be able to essentially get all four of them for 100 GBP and figure it's a good chance to see if they're worth paying more for as well as 2-3 Hobers and some swatches. Will also be buying two Luxire trousers in Minnis flannel, one in corduroy and one in moleskin for the fall if my Luxire order arrives in time for me to try on the pants and make a new order with adjustments before the grace period ends.

I'm going to try to participate in August since I'll definitely be out in September (Joe Hemrajani's coming to Chicago and I'll be ordering a couple of suits that I've wanted for awhile).

That's great, dude. I may be in for August, not sure.

There's some ties I REALLY want from Panta that aren't on the site yet. Some of the greatest ties I've seen in a long time, but I just can't drop that much right now.

My Luxire trousers are coming but I have to say I'm skeptical on how we measured them. They may look OK but maybe not for long. Hard to explain. The shirts however, I have 3 shipping today supposedly that are fixes. And still 5 more to receive. I will be good on shirts except to get some white ones for a while after that.

I hope you're getting those linen pants for a discount, as the linen pants season is more than half over. Otherwise, this could possibly wait to early spring of next year.

Are you going to be able to see the black label shirts in-person? The construction seems fine, but my main issue with them is that the patters are too bold, making it tough to wear them with suits and even sport coats.

BTW, they are still double needle.

Here is a pick of one that might appear conservative on the website but isn't as much in person. Notice the detailing in the fabric. I find that I can't wear any of my black label shirts to work. I wear them out at night instead.

Yeah, ignore my comment then. Your summer season is half the year.

I wish it was only half. I get to wear nice comfortable winter clothes for three or four months. The rest, it's rolled up sleeves and anything that's breathable. SUCKS.

Hmmm, good to know. Is that a picture of this one?

Was also thinking of:

If the website photos are a bit misleading, I may reconsider.

The one I posted is from last year, so I don't think it is the one you referenced. The first 2 look good. I'm not sure about the chevron though. I would zoom in and make sure they look ok. Here is another one with texture:

DECLARE YOUR END OF THE MONTH PURCHASES!

Alright folks, you've been waiting 25 odd days for this. Let me see what you'll be purchasing.

This is to be my reward for July:

(Howard Yount)

I'll be taking August off but will be back--should MoL not--in September. Which I suspect will be a very challenging month.
