I don't have any standing to answer your question, RTC, but I'm impressed with the fit and applaud its coherence.

heldentenor - Please not to do that sitting down pose any more.

RTC - Great colors, but that jacket looks pretty dated to me. :/

Thanks for those thoughts. I like the overall shape on you, and unbuttoned, it has a nice curve/line, noticeable without being overly dramatic (second pic from the bottom).

Yes, and I don't think that is by chance: Ring Jacket do seem to think everything through, including how the jacket looks unbuttoned. Ring Jacket I think is going to be one of my few exceptions to the all bespoke rule that I now have since their mainline unstructured jackets seem to actually fit me in 36S except for the sleeves, but as they come with unfinished sleeves, as surprisingly few quality OTR jackets do these days, I also don't have the problem of what to do about shortening sleeves that are too long but already have working cuffs.

Cross post from the Friday challenge

As I said on the FC challenge thread: outstanding (although I'd go for smaller tie knot, personally), and I'll repeat the question for the benefit of readers of this thread: where's the suit from?

Can I leave the ****** pool yet?

I think you're already out. This is very nice: generally harmonious but still not stuffy. The textures and colours work together. There are some small points: I think the finishing of your trousers could be better - either slightly more tapered or cuffed, and perhaps a tiny bit shorter (I say 'perhaps' because I don't know what they'd look like with shoes rather than boots) would be perfect - and personally I don't like the red dots on the tie in this context. But these are details: the overall impression is light years ahead of where you started.

Thank you very much. The suit is Suitsupply - washington fit from last year's a/w. They had it in light grey flannel too. Still annoyed that I didn' buy it also..

Suitsupply often surprises me. Did you have to have it altered much? Although of course, we can't feel its weight and texture, It generally looks way better than OTR has any right to be!

Step in the right direction but it gives me suit jacket and suit pants vibe. The cut of the jacket seems more appropriate for a suit and pants needs a little texture and some work as @FlyingMonkey stated.
