Thanks! When I compared mine to your brown burnished strands, it looked pretty similar unless it was the lighting.

Mine are quite a bit darker. Might've been lighting.

Beautiful shoes, well done. I am a sucker for the Walnut myself... I wouldn't mind seeing a 3/4 view of them to show off the rolled edging...

Visited the Alden store today but couldn't pull the trigger on a pair of the perf bal cap toe in No 8 Cordovan.  The color darkerr than I was hoping for and the last looks a little bulky. Very similar to the AE fifth street.

Now I am considering a Burgundy Cordovan MTO Harrison.  Any thoughts, resources, and/or comparisons I should consider?

I love the merlot; it pairs so nicely with navy and gray suits. I'm thinking about doing a McAllister MTO in Merlot, adding a dainite sole to cope with the terrible Canadian weather...

Would a V-Tread McAllister in Merlot not work? The Bourbon and Merlot have V-Tread at no charge.

It might work. I'd be interested in any opinions people here have regarding dainite vs v-tread. In speaking with Allison, she suggested the dainite for my use case.

As far as I understand there would not be a difference in cost for the SF MTO, just a difference in convenience to acquire vs off-the-rack Merlot McAllister with v-tread.

So what's everyone's experience lately on invoicing. Time of order or when shipped?

You pay at the time of order now and should receive your invoice soon after or couple of days after if they're busy.
