Great jacket, tie and shirt but I think the shirt and the jacket have way too much plaid/grid going on. How about a solid blue OCBD with that jacket and tie?
I can see the the grid being overwhelming. It may be more pronounced in the photo because the fabric is duller irl. Thanks for the critique.
Very cool!
Details on SC?
who is your maker? :slayer:
this is good as is. the tie is solid and so is the outfit.
Thanks, guys. The SC is partenopea - as was the grey flannel suit, charcoal suit and navy sc were la vera.
Today:

I like the SC. I might try a darker trouser next time. Today.

If at first you don't succeed...

Tried to make it a little more "country" this time around. Look at it like a three piece tweed. Would love to hear thoughts, especially compared to last weeks fit with this suit.

I'm not sold on the shoes, and I would be curious to see this look with a spread collar shirt. I still like the suit and tie though, fabric looks quite nice :)

Tweed! (The blue and red came out much more vivid than IRL. iPhone...)

I bought my first suit (ya, post-30. I know, I know).

I went for a Banana Republic modern fit. It being my first suit, I didn't want to risk a BR tailored fit (though my next one will be a slimmer cut).

I do have a contact for a good tailor. How do I fix the coat? Pant isn't as slim, but it seems bigger in the picture because it's long and so doesn't hang. Once I get it hemmed to right length, it'll look better.

What do I need to fix in the coat (robot pose is to show the coat cut properly, I normally dont stand like this :))?

Thanks for the help guys.

Good look!
Yeah, I even wore a heavy cardigan yesterday. Not bad. I hope the temperature drops even lower.
