I absolutely agree with you. Im not a fan of these socks on at all. Shoulda did a solid navy, but c'est la vie. This is how we learn. They keep falling down too, which is pissing me off.
yes, same as 99.9% of every day out of the year, its a basic FIH. I dont buy cheap ties, so perhaps that has something to do with it. But, there are many people out there who buy the same ties and they dont look like this. Some people excel in shining shoes, some in color coordination, some... in tie knots. I keep meaning to post how I do it, but I never get around to it. Today's tie, by the way - is by our very own Gshen.
Also, I put some fairy dust in your squares.
Great looking pants. The close up of the coordinated shirt and tie colors looks very nice. But the pink pocket square and the pink socks just seem like a little too much. I would have gone with grey socks or kept the pink socks and had a more subdued pocket square.

how do you get your tie knot to come out looking like that?
is that just a normal four-in-hand?
does it depend on the tie? so do i need to buy one of your ties for sale to have my tie knot come out looking like that?
the pocketsquares i bought from you had better have some magic and help me pull off some spoo-like looks
